The PowWow Festival and Future Trips

It’s April, and that means it’s nearly time for the PowWow Festival of Writing. I can’t believe it’s been a year since the first time I went to this festival. Again, I will be going to the event with my O.W.G. (Oldbury Writing Group) posse. This trip will be our second one for 2016, and we’re hoping that the festival will be as good as last year.

Talking about trips, my writing group has many plans for the future. So far we have a trip planned for April, May, and June. In April, we will be going to the PowWow Festival; in May, we will be going to the VE Day Celebration at the Museum of Cannock; and June, we will be going to the Library of Birmingham to see the Shakespeare Exhibition.

We are also planning to write our own play. So to help us learn the art of play writing, we will be going to watch as many plays as possible.

I think this year will be a very interesting one for O.W.G. I’m glad I’m a member of this amazing group – I’m not biased.

Oh, you can check out our website to learn more about the other members. https://oldburywritinggroup.wordpress.com/

Keep writing, folks!
