Website Is Now Finished

I have finally finished the website, and I’m now ready to start sharing my writing journey with you all.

So, what else have I been doing? Well, I have recently completed my ‘Sister Replacement’ story, and I have submitted it to the Spinetinglers competition, fingers crossed for that. With that story fully edited, I am now planning to go back to my other completed short stories and edit them.

I’m also working on a new project, which I’m hoping to start writing soon. And there’s also a new anthology submission call for stories with dragons and butterflies — the dragons and butterflies can be literal or metaphorical. So that’ll be something to get my creative juices flowing.

At the moment, there is a lot to keep me busy. Hopefully, some acceptances will come my way, fingers crossed for that.

Also, my ‘Cake for a Neighbour’ story was downloaded for the first time — someone liked my story enough to download it. Yay me! I’m glad I decided to start writing again. (Note: Shortbread Stories’ website is being redeveloped.)

That’s all I have for you for today.

Keep writing, folks.

Don’t forget, if you want email alerts of my latest posts, then please subscribe. And you can follow me on Twitter, Goodreads or like my Facebook page — you can also join my online writing group Setting Self-Doubt on Fire Squad.

Also, I’ve also created a Nicole J Simms YouTube channel. On my channel, I will be sharing videos of my performances, trips, writing group adventures and my stories.

And, you can also download my e-book The Book of Drabbles for FREE, so check it out.
