Hi all, it’s been a while, I know, so I thought I would give you an update on what I have been up to.
Let’s start with some exciting news: I finished my supernatural horror novel in October, which is just over 91,000 words. I wrote roughly 66,000 words in October.
On 16th October 2020, I took part in my first Heart Breathings’ virtual writing retreat. The event lasted for three days, and its goal is to help you write your current project.
In October, I joined Sarra Cannon’s Heart Breathings Word Sprints Challenge Facebook group. I had heard about this group from Sarra’s Heart Breathings YouTube channel, which I watch for the great writing and self-publishing advice — she’s amazing. If you’re a writer, I recommend you watch this channel.
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) 2020 starts tomorrow! I can’t believe it’s here already. My NaNoWriMo Goal So, what am I doing for NaNoWriMo? Well, I’m writing the first book in my paranormal cosy mystery series. The idea for this book comes from a novelette I wrote in 2014. And I’ve been looking forward to writing something lighter because I
